SUBJECT: New eTravel System (eTS)

In accordance with Article 5, Section 4 of the HUD/AFGE Agreement, this memorandum relates to the switch from the existing Travel Management System (HTMS) to the new mandated eTravel System. This new system emanates from the President’s Management Agenda (PMA) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2002. This new system will not be HUD owned, but should alleviate many travel related issues now faced by employees. We have attached a copy of the Federal Travel Regulations and a Power Point presentation to explain the new process and/or stages of implementation. Please submit any preliminary proposals related to the impact of the implementing this new system within 10 calendar days after receipt of this memorandum.
